Under the agreement Royal developed GEMCare, a first-of-its-kind service protection plan tailored specifically for GEM's electric powered vehicles. The plan addresses the unique components and service requirements of electric vehicles and offers the GEM customer several levels of service protection options with a seamless GEM customer service experience. Additionally, GEM customers will have access to all features and benefits of Royal's service protection products including Theft Prevention, 24-Hour Roadside Assistance, Tire & Roadside Hazard, and Towing. More than 32,000 zero-emission GEM vehicles have been produced and distributed across the United States and internationally, and are in use in settings such as city centers, master planned communities, rural areas, military bases, local, state and national parks, industrial developments, airports and college and university campuses.
