Headquartered in Arlington, Texas, NIADA has over 19,000 members nationwide. Formed in 1946 to represent independent automobile dealers, NIADA is the voice of the used motor vehicle industry. Members look to NIADA to provide them with solutions and answers that help them operate more successful businesses. Bringing together informational sources and benefits, providing educational opportunities for dealers and their employees, along with a strong legislative presence in Washington, D.C., is NIADA's key focus for its members.

Alabama. The Alabama Independent Automobile Dealers Association was organized in 1948 in Montgomery, Alabama. The Alabama Trade Association represents the more than 5,000 license independent automobile and truck dealers in Alabama. The purpose of the association is to advance, advise, and safeguard the business interests of its members; promote harmony, goodwill, understanding and ethical conduct using sound business practices; and to exercise the powers granted generally to non-profit corporations.

Arizona. The AIDA History - The Independent Automobile Dealers Association was founded in 1968 by a group of automobile dealers that saw the need for a trade association to provide support, information, legislation and education to dealers throughout the state.

Florida. The mission of the FIADA is to anticipate, recognize and respond to the members' need for education, information and resources. To support and assist members in understanding and complying with Regulatory issues. To advocate fair legislation on behalf of Independent Dealers and their customers. To increase membership. Promote a Code of Ethics. Enhance the image of the Used Car dealer. Improve customer confidence and satisfaction. FIADA's commitment to this mission will enable its members to increase their profitability and business success.

Georgia. To professionally inform and educate the independent motor vehicle dealers of the State of Georgia and represent their interests in all forums.

Massachusetts. MIADA is the Premiere Professional Association for Class II Automobile Dealers in Massachussetts, and is a regional affiliate of the national organization the National Independent Auto Dealers Association. Members of MIADA are automatically enrolled as members of NIADA, which has 17,000 members across the USA. MIADA represents 450 Used Car Dealers across the state. Members of MIADA subscribe to a Code of Ethics and are liscensed Class II dealers throughout the state. MIADA retains a presence on Capital Hill and at the State House, and advocates for fair practices within the industry.

New Hampshire. The New Hampshire Automobile Dealers Association (NHADA) is a statewide trade association, representing the interests of the motor vehicle industry. Membership consists of all of the new-car and new-truck dealers in the state, along with motorcycle, recreational vehicle, farm equipment, and used-car dealers, as well as motor vehicle service, autobody repair, and motor vehicle parts sales facilities, and associate members.

Virginia. To inform, educate, and represent motor vehicle dealers in all forums, and to work in cooperation with other organizations to make the Commonwealth of Virginia a safer community for all.
